Screwfix LIVE opened its doors to the trade and DIY enthusiasts from 29th – 1st October in the Farnborough exhibition centre, located in Farnborough, Hampshire (South West England). The show was a great success, with a reported record footfall of over 18,500 visitors in attendance.
The RAWLPLUG team attended the show along with over 130 trade suppliers. Occupying a brand NEW stand design in the main hall, RAWLPLUG showcased the latest products and innovations for 2017.
The introduction of the NEW RAWLPLUG stand, helped to increase our audience and give them a taste of what is to come in the lead up to 2019 (centenary year – 100 years of RAWLPLUG). Part of the stand design incorporated a selection of our early vintage products and marketing collateral, dating back as far as 1920’s. These items attracted and generated an enormous amount of attention from the public on each of the three days.
The POS offer with fully stocked merchandisers was displayed on the stand. The lightweight fixings, bonded anchors and our first fix nail gun (WW90CH) were all showcased through demonstrations. RAWLPLUG featured show deals with special prices on its Screwfix range, a Facebook competition and giveaways were handed out to visitors to promote the brand.
A big thank you to the Screwfix team for another successful show and we look forward to what’s in store for 2018.
